Jennifer Lopez has addressed “negativity” in a fan email amid recent speculation she’s split from husband Ben Affleck.
In recent weeks the couple sparked speculation that there are issues in their marriage following reports they are not living together
The singer thanked her fans after her recent film Atlas number one on Netflix – continuing on to speak about negativity.
In the email, she wrote: “Hi everybody, I just found out some great news and it’s all because of YOU!! ATLAS is #1 worldwide again this week!!! Thank you all so much!!”
“It may seem like there’s a lot of negativity out in the world right now… but don’t let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there.”
This follows reports that Ben has clashed with JLO’s team.
Reportedly, the actor said JLO needs to “overhaul her career” following the singer’s recent setbacks – such as cancelled tours or axed films.
Tensions have risen behind the scenes for some time as Ben has been “butting heads” with Jen’s creative team.
A source told The Sun: “[Ben] just wants what’s best for her and feels she’s doing a lot of mediocre projects and is surrounded by yes people who are also sometimes making decisions for her.”
“Jen is also often doing 50 things at once.”
“Ben is not working as much by choice and she’s overworking – so their priorities are different, even though she has been dedicated to her marriage and kids, she’s very busy.”
Last month, it was reported the couple were “living apart” amid speculation surrounding their marriage.
At the time, the couple haven’t been seen together in public since March 30th – sparking the split concerns.
Many sources claimed that the two stars are living separately while both are in Los Angeles.
According to People, Ben has been staying at one of their other properties while filming his movie The Accountant 2 – not at the couple’s Los Angeles home.
However, despite this speculation, they have been spotted still wearing their wedding rings.
The a-list couple were seen out separately on May 16th, and both appeared to be wearing their wedding bands.
Ben, 51, was spotted on a solo drive in Los Angeles, while Jennifer, 54, flashed her ring finger as she arrived at an LA dance studio.
Fuelling speculation, eagle-eyed fans spotted Jennifer liking a March 19th Instagram post about healthy relationships, which partly read: “You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves.”
Earlier this year, the songstress also attended the 2024 Met Gala, where she stunned in Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, without Ben – despite being one of the co-chairs for the event.
According to his rep, Ben was busy filming The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles.
The couple, famously dubbed Bennifer, got back together in May 2021 – 17 years after they called off their engagement.
The pair broke up just three days before their wedding back in 2003.
