Britney Spears’ father has stepped into to resolve the legal battle over child support she is locked in with Kevin Federline.
The pop singer’s ex currently receives $20,000 dollars a month, but he is seeking for the payment to be increased to $60,000 a month.
Speaking previously to US Weekly Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said the DJ should be paid “at least three times that amount.”
The Blast heard from sources close to the family that Jamie Spears privately reached out to the dancer and offered him approximately $10,000 extra a month for his children.
If Kevin accept the cash and ends his legal battle that will bring his monthly child support from the Spears to around $30,000.
Britney pays for Jayden and Sean’s private school and extracurricular activities while maintaining that her payments to her ex are more than enough to cover bills and provide a great lifestlye for their kids.
Kevin has already racked up over $80,000 in legal fees so sources close to him believe he should accept her dad’s generous offer.
