Beyoncé has bought out Ivy Park from Topshop, following sexual harassment claims made against the co-founder, Philip Green.

The massive retailer had a 50% stake in the gym gear brand, but the singer has since purchased Philip’s share of the athleisure line to become the full owner of Ivy Park.

The brand released a statement in the Financial Times, stating that: “After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 percent of the Ivy Park brand.”

Despite the Topshop chairman denying the allegations made against him, Beyonce has cut all ties with the company.

The decision comes following advice from a rep for Equality Now, a non-governmental organisation, which helps promote the human rights of women.

The organisation appeared to be happy with Beyonce’s decision, as they tweeted: “We expect nothing less from a woman who has fiercely stood up for women & girls everywhere.”
