Vogue Williams, Louis Walsh and Nidge: The Top 8 stars we want to host Xpose

By: Sarah Garrett

With Aisling O’Loughlin and Karen Koster both having babies on the way, Xpose is going to be on the look-out for some new fill-in hosts.

Kian Egan’s wife Jodi Albert made her presenting debut this week with Nadia Forde is due to guest host for the second time soon.

But if TV3 are on the look out for someone more permanent, Goss.ie have put together a list of the stars we think would be perfect for the role.

1. Vogue Williams

The Pride of Ireland Awards 2015

Vogue’s presenting career has taken off with her documentary series for RTE as well as working with ITV, so we see no reason why she can’t take over the reigns at Xpose.

The former Fade Street star has been already featured on the TV3 show multiple times, and she’s already a household name.

And with that killer body Vogue could also double up as a model for the show, what’s not to love?

2. Louis Walsh

Junk Kouture the final 1

Since leaving the X Factor after his tenth series surely the music mogul has a bit of spare time on his hands?

Louis judging handbags instead of singing? We think this could be his next big career move.

Okay maybe he wouldn’t be the perfect fit, but wouldn’t he be fun to watch? We’re missing off our screens right now!

3. Lisa Murphy & Gerald Kean

Okay, okay, this sounds crazy but just give the idea a chance.

Lisa and Gerald have split up so many times it would be a good idea to have the pair on air for minute-by-minute relationship updates.

Are they on? Are they off? Possible new segment on the show? We think so.

These two are seriously entertaining so we see no harm in at least giving them a screen test.

4. Nicky Byrne

PeopleOfTheYear Social 51

Right back to actual suggestions, Nicky Byrne has proved himself in the world of presenting thanks to RTE and 2FM, so we think he’d be a perfect host.

TheDubliner has moved into a full time presenting career since hanging up his boots with Westlife.

If his chemistry with presenters Lisa and Glenda is anything like his and Jenny Greene’s everyday on 2fm, then we’d be in for a treat.

Actually scrap Nicky on his own – let’s bring Jenny on too!

5. Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (aka Nidge)

Love/Hate - Series 5

Nidge and Xposé may seem like chalk and cheese but don’t we all love a bit of diversity?

With Love/Hate no longer in our lives, Goss HQ  are more than missing our daily dose of Nidge, so it would mean Tom would get to play the crime lord again.

The Dublin native would give the show a whole new outlook… (we’re serious)

6. Jennifer Maguire

Jennifer Maguire is a TV veteran with years of Republic Of Telly under her belt.

The former Apprentice contestant is used to interviewing the world’s rich and famous on the red carpet and she’s already had a go as an Xpose presenter before.

Well, not really – Jennifer filmed a parody of the show for Republic of Telly and it was just as good as the real thing – showbiz, showbiz, showbiz!

7. Amy Huberman

Amy Huberman is the new face of Newbridge Silverware

As a successful actress, Amy Huberman has stage presence and is a natural in front of the camera.

She’s one of Ireland’s best loved celebs and putting her on Xpose would have viewers turning on the telly in droves.

Amy is definitely one of Ireland’s leading style queens, so we’d have her on for the fashion segments alone.

8. Amanda Byram

The Pride of Ireland Awards 2015

Amanda Byram started out her presenting career with TV3 and it could be time for her return.

The TV star first popped up on the small screen on Ireland AM before she moved on to the UK soon after.

After recently hosting the TV IFTAs Amanda could be a perfect fit for the program.
