U2 tour stages to be put on display in Dublin

U2’s renowned tour stages could be put on display in Dublin.

The council are looking into a proposal that could see the spectacular stages set as a permanent feature.

Bono previously expressed his desire to have them placed in Dublin for fans to explore and walk upon.

The famous stages include the claw from the 360 tour, cars from the Zoo TV tour and the lemon from the Pop mart tour.

Fianna Fail councillor Darragh Butler suggested an area in North Fingal and he feels it could generate tourism for the area.

“There is a lot of work already going on with trying to boost tourism in the area,” he said.

“It’s about finding a location that could accommodate them but I thought I would put it out there for consideration,” he told the Herald.

U2 are currently on their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE world tour.
