Angry viewers have slammed RTE for editing out a performance by Kendrick Lamar at the Grammy Awards.
The hugely popular rapper gave what was considered by many to be the stand-out performance of the night when he appeared in prison uniform for his performance of The Blacker The Berry.
Irish audiences who tuned in to RTE’s coverage of the awards the day after it aired in the US were left angry when Kendrick’s performance was edited out.
Disgruntled viewers took to Twitter to hit out at the national broadcaster for the decision:
Kendrick Lamar had the best live performance of the night and didn’t make it onto @rte highlights of the Grammys but Pitbull did hahahha

Am I the only one who is extremely annoyed/disgusted that @rte didn’t include the @kendricklamar performance from the @TheGRAMMYs ?

I actually can’t believe @rte didn’t show Kendrick Lamar’s performance in their #GRAMMYs coverage #AbsoluteJoke #PerformanceOfTheNight

RTE previously came under fire for their editing of last year’s Grammy Awards after they cut out John Legend’s performance with the singer winning Best Original Song on the night.
