Social media was all a buzz when Brian Dobson’s personal Twitter account got hacked by a fellow colleague.
The veteran news anchor tellingly left his profile logged in on an RTE computer when the Twitter bandit attacked.
The tricky prankster has been named as Bryan’s RTE work pal and fellow newsman David McCullagh.

Hijacking Bryan’s twitter, David wrote: “@bryansixone should have logged out of Twitter on the studio computer . . . hmm, now what should I tweet on his behalf”.
The rogue tweet was met with a foray of responses from the popular news readers loyal followers.
One inquisitive fan asked: “Is it true you don’t wear trousers while reading the news?” while another asked the RTE bandit to “leave Dobbo alone. Dobbo 4 ever”.

The esteemed newsreader was away in London at the time covering the UK elections when his social media came under attack.
The Six One News presenter has yet to comment on the matter but an RTE spokesperson told The Sun that he is not upset over the tweet.
“Bryan got a great laugh from the prank,” the spokesperson told the newspaper.
