Brian Ormond has admitted he found it difficult to keep quiet over the news of he and his blogger wife Pippa O’Connor were expecting a baby.
The TV presenter and his model love announced they are expecting their second child last week.
“It’s great – I was bursting to tell everyone. I am just so excited and it has come at a great time,” he said.

The couple are already parents to son Ollie who is little brother to Brian’s daughter Chloe from a previous relationship.
Opening up about the pair, Brian revealed the family is delighted with the news of the bundle of joy due in May.
“Chloe is nearly 16 and Ollie [will be] just turned three so we are excited about whoever comes along,” he told the Mirror.
“Chloe is getting a great giggle out of Ollie now – she’s great, she’s asking him what Santa is bringing him and of course he wants everything.

“His main thing now is he wants to go to a toy shop because he thinks when he goes into somewhere like that he can have everything – he doesn’t realise you have to pay for it,” he added.
The Dubliner joins Maria Walsh to present the TV3 Toy Show tonight at 8pm but admitted Ollie will be staying at home to watch.
“I don’t think he would sit still for long enough, especially seeing Daddy on stage he would want to be up with me all the time,” he said.
