Win: Benjamin won for Best Short Film

We are indeed [over the moon], we just got back to our flat here and it’s been surreal all week but even more so now. It’s amazing,” he said.

The film maker was so flustered by his win he admitted he can barely remember his acceptance speech.

“I can barely even remember what I said up on stage,” he explained.

However, Benjamin was delighted by the response from his friends back in Ireland “saying that they’re delighted for us and that the speech was decent.”

Following his win, the director revealed his all important party plans.

“We’re gonna head out to a party now and hopefully meet up with my brother who’s here and two of my best mates are here,” the Dubliner said.

“They’re really the people I want to go see now and just savour this moment with them. It’s a special time.”
