Love Island’s Gemma Owen and Luca Bish complete ‘major milestone’ after leaving the villa

Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have completed a “major milestone” after leaving the Love Island villa.

The couple came runner-up to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti on the popular dating show earlier this month.

Taking to their respective TikTok accounts this morning, Gemma and Luca posted videos of their first food shop together.

The couple filmed themselves in Marks & Spencer, as they filled up their shopping trolley with food for the week.

Gemma captioned her post: “The anticipated food shop 😍😍 @Luca Bish.”

Meanwhile Luca wrote over his video: “Major milestone: COMPLETE.”

Before they left the Love Island villa, the pair joked about doing their first food shop together, and said they couldn’t wait to do normal things together on the outside world.

It comes after Gemma finally introduced Luca to her famous dad Michael Owen.

Last week, the couple jetted to the Algarve in Portugal to meet the former Liverpool star at her family’s private villa.

Speaking on The Six O’Clock Show this week, Gemma confirmed Luca has now got the seal of approval from both her parents.

The 19-year-old explained: “Family thumbs up, very good. We had a little trip, a bit of work, bit of relaxing, met all of them there. That was really positive and really nice.”

“Now we’ve got the approval, the ball’s in his court. Just waiting for him,” she admitted as she revealed that Luca still hasn’t asked her to be his girlfriend.

Fans have been waiting for the couple to “make things official” since they left the villa, and the 23-year-old teased it would happen soon in a post shared on Instagram last week.

Luca posted a video of him and Gemma heading out for the night, and wrote: “Mission ‘ask Gem to be my girlfriend’ is in motion 👀.”
