Graham Norton has revealed that he’s quit Twitter, due to it not being “a happy world”.
The BBC star revealed on his Radio 2 show that despite his 1.2 millions followers, he’s sick of the social networking site as it is “not a happy world” and that he has a lack of “real friends” on the site.
“I prefer Facebook because I have real friends there who agree with me. But on Twitter, not so much,” he said.

“I have kind of fallen out of love with Twitter. It’s not a happy world so I have left it.”
While his Twitter account still exists, only posts about his column for The Telegraph have been posted since June 22 – which is surprising as Graham used to be a regular tweeter.
The news comes after Graham was revealed as one of the highest paid TV presenters in the world.
