Meghan Markle wasn’t surrounded by many family members yesterday but that didn’t mean there weren’t people there from her past cheering her on.
One spectator who Meghan spied in the crowds of supporters was a former teacher of hers.
The Duke of Sussex was visibly moved by seeing her former teacher in the crowd as her carriage procession made its way through the streets of Windsor following her wedding ceremony in St George’s Chapel.
The newlyweds were in their carrige passing through the streets lined with well wishers when Meghan gasped “Oh my god!” as she saw a familiar face.
A member of the public filmed a video of the 77-year-old who caught the bride’s eye reacting to her passing by.
Gigi Perreau was a star during the 1940s and one of the former Suits actress’ mentors.
The people around Perreau were moved by the newlywed’s reaction and remarked “She saw you!”
Gigi ecstatically replied, “I know!”
The women haven’t seen ech other in twenty years.
