Spencer Matthews has revealed that there was a slight hiccup in the proceedings on the day of his second wedding to Vogue Williams.
The couple enjoyed a second wedding with friends and family recently, and for the ceremony, Spencer had to go without his wedding ring.
Speaking to HELLO! Magazine, the Made In Chelsea star explained that his son Theodore had a hand in the mysteriously missing ring.
“Theodore got hold of it and hid it in a boot, so I didn’t have it for the wedding,” he confessed.
“I wasn’t too worried – I’d left it on my bedside, so I knew a little monster must have tampered with it.”
Luckily, the ring that the one-year-old had hidden turned up a few days after the event.
Theodore was meant to be a part of the ceremony, but as with all things kid-related, it didn’t quite work out as planned.
“He only made a fleeting appearance. He was supposed to be a page boy and walk up the aisle on his walker but he didn’t manage it so I carried him up the aisle, and it was actually nicer like that,” Vogue revealed.
Spencer added: “It was so great for him to be a part of his mummy and daddy getting hitched, and we will be able to show him the photos when he gets older.”
