David and Victoria Beckham have beefed up security at their Cotswolds mansion, after numerous break-in attempts.

According to The Sun, the couple have installed a prison-style razor wire fence around their £6 million property.

One of their neighbours said: “I was surprised to find out it didn’t need planning permission. It makes the place look like Colditz.”

The news comes months after David and Victoria adopted a German shepherd guard dog called Logan.

The pair decided to dramatically increase security at their family home, after burglars tried to break into their home twice in two months.

The first time was last October, and weeks later security guards chased a man off the property while the Beckhams were abroad.

David, Victoria and their kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper regularly spend weekends and holidays at their Cotswolds retreat, which is located near Chipping Norton, Oxon.
