Last night’s Late Late Show left many people frustrated with the way their TV licence fee was being spent.
People took to Twitter to vent their frustration and slate the programme.
The show kicked off with a segment featuring James Kavanagh, Maura Derrane and Eoin Colfer.
They nominated things they wanted to put in a bin which the audience then agreed or disagreed with by a show of hands.

Sean Spicer and Liam Neeson also chatted to Ryan Tubridy.
Disappointed by Liam Neeson’s comments. Reinforcing the idea that inappropriately touching women was the norm and therefore ok. The reference to a ‘witch hunt’ also irked me. #LateLateShow

The show redeemed itself somewhat at the end as Tubridy heard Deborah Somorin’s story.
She shared her inspiring story of overcoming teenage homelessness and her mother’s suicide.

But overall the general sentiment about the show was well summed up by this tweet.
