Virginia Macari forgets about fiancee's bank fraud charge – thanks to Brown Thomas

Virginia Macari forgot about her fiancee’s legal issues yesterday – by splashing the cash in Brown Thomas.

The Dublin Wives star was spotted back in Dublin with Kas Dahl, who is currently facing charges over a €4 million bank fraud in Norway.

But the 39-year-old looked as if she didn’t have a care in the world when they stepped out with son Thor, two, on Grafton Street and TV producer pal Warren Meyler.

An onlooker told Goss.ie: “You could see they really were just enjoying being back in Dublin – although they weren’t too happy to be caught.”

They are normally based in Marbella, Spain, but plan to return to Ireland before their son starts school.

Police arrested Kaste, 43, in Spain earlier this year, before he was extradited to his native Norway over fraud charges.

Cops expect it will take a year to conclude their investigation.

But Virginia admitted she’s been told he won’t be going to jail – and that it hasn’t damaged their five year relationship.

She said: “He has regrets. I know he has a past and I certainly do not condone criminal activity.

“I didn’t fall in love with him be- cause of his past. I fell in love with him because of the future.”
