Kodaline have decided to cancel all of their upcoming European tour dates.

Taking to Twitter last night, the Irish band wrote, “Hey guys so we’re gutted to announce that we’ve decided it’s the right thing to cancel our mainland European dates.

“As you know, we’ve been working harder than ever on our third album and could not be prouder of what we’ve created so far! But we feel more there’s more to come.

“We haven’t stopped writing all summer but we need to head back into the studio over the coming months to work on ideas we have. We feel that it’s worth the wait and hope you guys do too!”

“All of the mainland European tour dates will be rescheduled for 2018. Thank you so much for all the support you have given us over the years and sticking by us!

“We know we have the best fans in the world ans want to make the best record we can for you guys! We can’t wait to play the new tunes for you all!!”

Kodaline were scheduled to play 26 concerts between November 7 and December 12 across Europe.
