2FM star Jennifer Maguire has revealed her brother-in-law was the surgeon who operated on Bono’s broken arm.
The U2 frontman was rushed to hospital after a horrifying crash on his bike in New York’s Central Park, where bones burst through his skin.
But Jennifer has now revealed in her Sun column how her sister wasn’t too impressed by the accident – as it ruined her day.

She said: “My sister wasn’t all too impressed with the U2 frontman’s accident though. She lives in the Big Apple with her family, and her husband Alan works in New York City Hospital in theatre.
“He was called in on a Sunday to help sort the rock star out — leaving her husbandless on their family day.
“I received a text from her saying she was pissed off with Bono. I initially thought, ‘Join the queue’, after U2 made everyone with an iTunes account listen to their album.

“But no, it was all because he ruined her Sunday roast and left the kids without their da on his only day off.
“So Bono, next time your bone pops out of your arm can you keep it to yourself?”
