DWTS boss DENIES claim that Twink was offered judging role before Loraine Barry

The panto queen recently claimed that she was offered the role first

DWTS boss Larry Bass has denied claims that Twink was offered a judging role on the show before Loraine Barry.

The panto queen recently claimed that she was the original female judge for the show’s pilot a few years ago.

Twink said that she ended up turning down the role, and recommended that they hire Loraine instead.

However, ShinAwil Productions boss Larry has since told the Irish Sun: “We never spoke to Twink about doing Dancing with the Stars. None of this is correct.”

Larry explained, “There was a different dance show called Let’s Dance about nine years ago (Twink was involved in it) but we never spoke to Twink about Dancing with the Stars. I have no idea where this is coming from.”

He said. “I have no recollection of Twink mentioning Loraine Barry,” before adding, “None of this is correct. None!”

Meanwhile, Loraine has insisted that she was approached about the role on DWTS by creative director Darren Bennett.

The champion ballroom dancer told the newspaper, “I don’t know Twink at all. I think I’ve met her twice in my whole life. Once in season one and again when she turned up two weeks ago.”

“Obviously I heard Twink’s name growing up as a child, but I don’t know her. I haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about,” she added.

Larry and Loraine’s comments comes after Twink attended DWTS two weeks ago, when her ex husband David Agnew performed with the RTE Orchestra.

At the time, the panto queen claimed: “I was Loraine for the pilot. I was the judge on the pilot about ten years ago. Gloria Hunniford was the host and they asked me would I do the full series and I said no!”

“I’m too much of a smart arse and I like to know everything and there are better qualified people than me for this job. And I said there is a girl called Loraine Barry who would be perfect.”
