Conor McGregor donates two tickets to UFC fight to important Irish charity

We may have all been focused on Conor McGregor’s trash talk this week – but behind the scenes, the Dubliner was doing something very noble.

Tickets to Conor’s fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov sold out in under three minutes, but the MMA star made sure to keep a pair for an Irish homelessness charity.

The Inner City Helping Homeless charity revealed the 30-year-old champion donated two of the sold out tickets, with the highest bidders money going straight to ICHH.

“Thanks to McGregor Sports and Entertainment we have 2 tickets for UFC 229 on October 6th in Las Vegas as Dublins own champ champ Conor McGregor takes on Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC Lightweight title,” ICHH Anthony Flynn announced.

“This will be the biggest fight in UFC history and is already a sell out but we are giving you the chance to get 2 tickets and support our volunteer run, non government funded frontline outreach and advocacy charity in the process.”

Anyone hoping to enter the auction can comment underneath the Facebook page with the highest bidder taking home the tickets.

Bidding has reached already €1,000 and ends Sunday at 9pm.
