They’ve only just announced their official comeback tour, and already bets are on that the Spice Girls will be playing Electric Picnic this summer.
Emma Bunton, Mel C, Mel B and Geri Halliwell have come back together (without Victoria Beckham) for the reunion tour we’ve all been waiting for.
Now bookmakers have tipped Spice Mania to spread to Irish shores.
Irish betting firm Paddy Power have tipped them at short odds of 5/4 to announce a headline gig at Croke Park for 2019.
However, Electric Picnic look set to experience a Girl Power outage as the iconic British pop group seem unlikely contenders to be revealed as the headline act in Stradbally next Summer at odds of 20/1.
“We think there’s a great chance the Spice Girls will send some girl power to Irish shores, so we’re staying-tuned to the groups new Twitter page and living in hope that they’ll spice up our life because we wannabe first in line for tickets. Otherwise there’ll be spice-bags at dawn,” a spokesperson for Paddy Power said
