Anna Faris texted her ex-husband, Chris Pratt, and offered to officiate his wedding.
The mother-of-one and actor’s divorce was finalised at the end of October and on Monday morning Chris announced his engagement to author, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
It’s clear that Anna and Chris still get on well, as the actress even congratulated the couple on the news on social media and revealed that she jokingly offered to officiate their wedding.
Following Chris and Katherine’s announcement, the actress spoke about the news on her podcast, ‘Anna Faris Is Unqualified’, and told fans that her ex texted her about the news before they shared it on Instagram.
“Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night’. I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing,'” she told fans.
Anna even jokingly offered to officiate the wedding, as she continued: “And I texted him back, ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.'”
The 42-year-old added that she is “not very good” at officiating weddings, but revealed that she knew the actor was going to propose to Katherine beforehand: “I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other.”
The father-of-one finally confirmed his romance with the 29-year-old last month, after roughly seven months of dating.
