Adam Scott has confirmed he will be returning to Big Little Lies.
He will reprise his role as Ed Mackenzie, the husband of Reese Witherspoon’s character, Madeline Martha Mackenzie.
The series won several Emmy and Golden Globe Awards including wins for Outstanding Limited Series and Best Mini-Series or Television Film.
The news was revealed on Twitter when he retweeted Variety’s announcement.

Reece Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman announced that the hit show would return for a second season in December.
The two actresses executive produced the show and will once again be joined by creator and writer David E. Kelley, but this time they will welcome a new director, Academy Award winner Andrea Arnold.
Speaking after the announcement of the shows return, Nicole Kidman told Variety “This is inspired by the overwhelming response by audiences around the world, conceived once again by Liane Moriarty, realized by David Kelley and now in the hands of visionary filmmaker Andrea Arnold”
“What a journey this has been. I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to keep exploring these female characters and make this series with my friends”.
Reece also added “I’m thrilled to be bringing back this talented team of artists.”
She went on “It gives us the opportunity to delve deeper into the lives of these intriguing and intricate Monterey families and bring more of their stories back to the audience who embraced and championed them”.
Adam appeared on ‘The Late Late Show’ with James Corden recently and was grilled over weather he would make a return to the highly anticipated show.
