Never abusive at all towards me,&#8221; the actress admitted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68466\" src=\"https:\/\/media.goss.ie\/uploads\/2016\/06\/johnny-amber.jpg\" alt=\"johnny amber gk films\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Split: Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are currently going through a messy divorce\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Winona and Johnny met in 1989 and got engaged in 1990 before ending their relationship three years later.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can only speak from my own experience, which was wildly different than what is being said,&#8221; the 44-year-old revealed to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/4380827\/winona-ryder-stranger-things-johnny-depp\/\">TIME\u00a0Magazine.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I only know him as a really good, loving, caring guy who is very, very protective of the people that he loves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s hard because I feel like\u2014that&#8217;s my experience. It&#8217;s weird because imagine if someone you dated when you were\u2014I was 17 when I met him\u2014was accused of that.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s just shocking.
