Chrishell Stause has avoided an awkward run-in with her ex Justin Hartley and his new wife Sofia Pernas.<\/p>\n

Justin and Sofia\u00a0made their red carpet debut <\/a>as a couple at Sunday night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards, where they wore matching rings on their weddings fingers.<\/p>\n

On Monday, news broke that the couple had secretly gotten married<\/a>, just months after Justin and Chrishell finalised their divorce.<\/p>\n

On Monday night, Chrishell stepped out on the red carpet<\/a> for part two of the MTV Awards, narrowly missing a run-in with her ex-husband.<\/p>\n

Justin and Chrishell confirmed their romance in January 2014, and got engaged two years later.<\/p>\n

The couple tied the knot on October 30, 2017 \u2013 but just two years later Justin filed for divorce in November 2019,\u00a0which completely \u201cblindsided\u201d Chrishell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Their divorce was finalised<\/a> in February this year.<\/p>\n

Chrishell opened up about her divorce on the third season of Selling Sunset to her co-star Mary Fitzgerald, revealing Justin told her he had filed for divorce via text message.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe texted me that we were filed,\u201d she said. \u201cForty-five minutes later, the world knew.\u201d<\/p>\n
