Irish women will spend up \u20ac100k on their hair in a lifetime, sitting up to 134 days in a hairdressers chair, according to a leading Irish hairdresser.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

John Keegan, co-owner of a successful chain of barber shops and top women\u2019s salon Academy Belle, has revealed that the time and money that women are spending looking after their locks has never been greater.\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

“The average spend per female client is anything from \u20ac1,500-\u20ac2,000 a year,” he said.<\/p>\n

“And that\u2019s before you throw in a few hundred euro extra on hair products throughout the year.<\/u><\/p>\n

“The average amount a man would spend on his hair service a year would in and around \u20ac250-\u20ac300, with an additional \u20ac200 euro on hair products like styling creams, shampoos, shaving soaps and foams.”<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

“This wouldn\u2019t include additional men\u2019s grooming products (face masks, moisturisers, eye creams) they would buy from high street stores.<\/p>\n

“So, on haircut service and products, a particularly image-conscious man would spend anything from \u20ac600-\u20ac1,000 a year.”<\/u><\/p>\n
