Owner Martina Killeen has now asked X Factor judge Louis Walsh to consider auditioning the Highland terrier, which he has agreed to do after he returns from holiday.
Now Mac is on the way to becoming just as famous as Britain’s Got Talent star Pudsey – and will be appearing on the Nicky Byrne Show on Monday.
The Dublin owner revealed that Mac is very choosy about what he sings along to, with Westlife his band of choice.
“I’m a big Westlife fan and I would always have the boyband playing in the house and I suppose Mac picked up on that,” Martina said.
“He particularly loves World Of Our Own. It’s his favourite and he barks and howls along to the words while moving his body to the beat of the song.

“Everybody who sees him thinks that he’s so cute and maybe Louis Walsh can come and have a look at him.
“People joke that he is Nicky Byrne in disguise, so Nicky could have a look at him too.”
Owner Martina added to the Star that Mac – who has also featured on 98FM as his career starts out wouldn’t “suffer from stage fright” and could go on a tour if needs be.
