WATCH: The Edge falls off stage during opening night of U2 tour

Guitarist The Edge fell off the stage during the opening night of the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour.

The British born musician was in the middle of a performace when he took the tumble in Vancouver, Canada last night.

Fans took to social media posting videos of the 53-year-old rocker falling and said that he was unhurt.

The U2 legend was performing I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For when he accidentally walked straight off the walkway.

The Beautiful Day hitmakers have been hit with bad news in the lead up to the tour with Bono being involved in a terrible accident meaning he cannot use his guitar.

Only last week Larry Mullen’s father, Larry Mullen Snr passed away in Dublin aged 92.
