WATCH: Lily Collins stars in brand new Netflix show by the creator of Sex and the City

Netflix have announced a brand new show starring Lily Collins, dropping to the streaming service next month.

‘Emily In Paris’ sees Lily star as ambitious marketing executive Emily Cooper, who moves from Chicago after bagging the job of a lifetime in Paris.

The 10-part series, made by the creator of Sex and the City, watches the fashionable Emily as she tries to win over her new colleagues, make friends, and navigate new romances.

Netflix dropped the trailer for the series on Tuesday, and announced that that series would be available from October 2.

After the announcement, Lily took to Instagram to share her excitement about starring in the show.

“Here we go!! Keeping this secret has been so hard but I’m beyond thrilled to finally announce @emilyinparis officially launches October 2, only on @netflix!” she wrote.

“I hope you guys fall in love with this story, the character and the city just like I did. Can’t. F*cking. Wait. Pardon my French…”

As well as being created by Sex and the City’s Darren Star, the Sarah Jessica Parker lead show’s famous costume designer Patricia Field also styled the Netflix series.

The series co-stars Ashley Park along with Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery.

Recurring cast includes Kate Walsh, William Abadie and Arnaud Viard.
