James Kavanagh has officially popped his “traffic light cherry”, after completing his second driving lesson with Opel Ireland.
The Snapchat star and TV personality revealed that he’s no longer a traffic light virgin, as he took to the roads of Glasnevin and Finglas.
In the gas video, James attempts to make a three-point turn, all while striking up possibly the greatest friendship ever with his instructor ‘Gentle John’.

Speaking after his lesson, James said, “I cannot believe I’ve made it to 27 without learning to drive. It’s something I hate that I’ve put off until now. I could tell you tale upon tale of personal traumatic public transport experiences.
“So, when Opel approached me with the opportunity to learn to drive with them, I LEAPED at the chance. The car I’ll be driving (once I pass, obvz) is the Opel ADAM. I think if I were a car I’d be it. It’s sleek, compact and looks a bit bold…I also adore the fact that you can personalise it in so many ways,” he said.
