The first trailer has been released for writer-director Angelo Pizzo’s sports drama My All American, starring Irish actress Sarah Bolger.
The film is based on author Jim Dent’s book Courage Beyond the Game: The Freddie Steinmark Story and stars Finn Wittrock and Aaron Eckhart.
The film’s plot follows American football player Freddie Steinmark (Finn Wittrock), an underdog on the gridiron, who faces the toughest challenge of his life after leading his team to a championship season.
Sarah acts as the love interest in the film of the very handsome Finn Wittrock’s character.
Sarah is best known for her roles in the films Stormbreaker, In America, and The Spiderwick Chronicles, as well as her award winning role as Lady Mary Tudor in the popular TV series The Tudors.
The Dublin native has had a steady flow of TV and film projects since her major acting debut in the 2002 film In America at just 10 years old.
