EXCLUSIVE! Presenter Sheana Keane 'I cried when I watched my new TV3 show'

Former Afternoon Show host, Sheana Keane has revealed how emotionally involved she was when filming her new show.

The TV star has finally made a return to the small screen with her new TV3 show Get the Numbers, Write which the Dubliner admits was “emotional”.

Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, the presenter revealed: “It was so moving, I was there, I watched all the programmes and I cried my eyes out.”

“I didn’t cry for the pain of the story but the camaraderie and potential that was being developed and the openness and how the world was opening up again,” she said.

The TV3 documentary follows the learning journey of five Irish people struggling with low levels of literacy which effects over half a million people in Ireland.

Asking if she hopes the show would have the same impact on the nation as RTE’s Operation Transformation, Sheana hoped so.

“I would hope so,  I mean it’s sort of nice to be involved with a programme that has a purpose and the purpose is to raise awareness and reduce stigma,” she revealed to Goss.ie.
