This is such a tune!

Irish artist Sion Hill is proving that Niall Horan and Bressie aren’t the only musical talent to come out of Mullingar.

Releasing his latest song ‘Fuel Kids’, the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Nate Johnston, looks back on the rite of passage, a time when we’re not quite adolescent anymore – but also not yet adult.

Exploring themes of growing up and the everyday grind, the Irish singer explains that “over the past couple of years, all my friends are getting ‘real jobs’ which doesn’t leave as much time as we would like to enjoy ourselves.”

“We have certain responsibilities now such as paying rent etc. and we can’t just sleep all day and party all night!”

‘Fuel Kids’ is an upbeat, harmony filled pop song, layered with Sion Hill’s soulful, raspy voice, propulsive drums, evocative guitars and sunny backing vocals.

The accompanying video is filmed in various locations across Dublin, including the iconic Poolbeg Chimneys.

Having supported the likes of Pete Doherty recently, Sion Hill will play various shows and festivals across Germany this summer.

‘Fuel Kids’ is Sion Hill’s debut single on Warner Music Germany, following his debut album ‘Elephant’, which was released in 2017 via Clouds Hill Records.
