Nicky Byrne, joined by wife Georgina, discussed the special tribute himself and Jenny Greene did in honour of Avicii this morning and future family plans.
The RTE 2FM presenter revealed that every week a game played on the show, which asks listeners to guess the laugh played on air, hadn’t been guessed and the prize money had risen to €840. The laugh on the show was that of the late DJ Avicii.
“We only found out about it in the last 48 hours, and when the family released the statement, myself and Jenny came in this morning and we didn’t think it was right to continue, it wouldn’t have been right so we donated it to Pieta house, Nicky said.
Nicky and Georgina also shared their excitement at their youngest heading off to school in September!
But, they don’t think they’ll be getting empty nest syndrome anytime soon as the only plans the have to extend their family would be another four-legged friend.
