Jason Byrne has revealed he was snubbed by Gwyneth Paltrow after making a joke about her daughter Apple.
The pair appeared together on an episode of The Graham Norton Show last year, however the awkward exchange was cut from the broadcast.
“Gwyneth Paltrow was promoting her cook book, she’s vegetarian, and I said, ‘Is your kid called Apple because you like food so much?'”
“It’s not live so they cut things out. She didn’t find that funny at all,” he admitted.

The comedian also revealed Lady Gaga, who appeared on the same show, thought he was a member of the audience.
“It was hilarious because none of them knew who I was,” he said.
Jason admitted that Gwyneth was furious over Lady Gaga’s special treatment during the episode.
“It was the only time on Graham Norton where Lady Gaga wanted to be interviewed individually.”

“So basically myself and Gwyneth Paltrow and Geoffrey Rush were out the back on our own,” he told TV Now.
“This is my claim to fame – Gwyneth Paltrow looked at me and went, ‘Well we’re f****d on this show'”.
