Kian Egan has slammed Boyzlife, calling the group a “clever marketing ploy”.
The former Westlife singer is not too impressed with Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy’s new supergroup.
The pair have united to perform some of their greatest hits from their days in Westlife and Boyzone and have already sold out their upcoming tour, but Kian isn’t too impressed.

“Personally speaking, I think  it’s not the right way to do it,” he told 98fm’s Big Breakfast.
“And I think it was pretty unfair on the fans to make them think that.
The Voice of Ireland coach explained that Westlife would never be interested in forming a supergroup and would only reunite as a foursome.

“Plus if Westlife were ever going to get back together again, it would be Westlife. It wouldn’t be Westlife and Boyzone and Westlife and somebody else.”
“If Westlife ever got back together again, it would be Westlife. It would be the four guys who stood in Croke Park the day Westlife ended,” he said.
