As well as the big wins of the night, there were a number of stand out moments from the ceremony from Nicki’s opening monologue to Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet enjoying a rare date night.

More shocking and memorable moments included Vin Diesel “calling out” Dwayne Johnson and Sofia Vegara shouting up to Jodie Foster after loosing to her.

If you didn’t get the chance to watch the Globes don’t worry – we’ve got all the best moments in once place. Take a look:

Nicki Glaser’s opening monologue

Host Nicki Glaser took no prisoners in her opening speech for the awards – poking fun at all the A-listers there tonight.

The comedian joked about everything from Timothée Chalamet’s moustache to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s emotional interviews during their promo tour for Wicked.

No one was safe from the host’s jokes as she really set to tone for the night.

At the beginning of her monologue, Nicki told the audience: “Tonight we celebrate the best of film and hold space for television,” referencing the bizarre Wicked interview.

She continued later in the speech to call out the power that all the celebs have, insisting: “You could really do anything. Except tell the country who to vote for.”

Nicki later revealed the “real goal of acting” is to create a tequila brand “that would make stars rich enough that they never needed to act again.”

Colin Farrell win third Golden Globe award

Colin Farrell has won his third ever Golden Globe award.

The Irish actor nabbed the gong for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television for his role in The Penguin.

The Dublin native was up against fellow Irish star Andrew Scott, who was nominated for his role in Netflix’s Ripley.

This is Colin’s third Golden Globe win, having previously won for his performances in The Banshees of Inisherin and In Bruges.

During his acceptance speech, Colin joked that he had “no one to thank on this one, I did it all by myself!”

He went on to tell the audience how he spent three hours in the make-up chair every day to transform into his character, and said he would be using prosthetics “from here on out”.

“In the morning, I drank black coffee, listened to 80s music, and I became a canvas for that team’s brilliance,” he said.

Colin also gave a shout out to his fellow Irish nominee Andrew Scott, and revealed they worked together on his first film 25 years ago, called Drinking Crude.

He joked that the film can’t be found anywhere, and told the audience: “You can’t even find it on Betamax! It doesn’t exist. But we go back that far.”

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner make rare public appearence

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner enjoyed a rare public date night at the 2025 Golden Globes, shutting down split speculation once and for all.

While they didn’t walk the red carpet together, the pair looked more loved-up than ever inside the awards ceremony – one year after they made their official debut as a couple at the same event.

Kylie was there to support Timothée, 29, who was nominated for his performance as musician Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.

Kylie, 27, proved their romance is still going strong as they packed on the PDA at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where they rubbed shoulders with the likes of Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Demi Moore, as well as our very own Colin Farrell and Andrew Scott.

The reality star stunned in a backless vintage chainmail dress from Versace’s spring 1999 collection, which was previously worn by Elizabeth Hurley in the 1990s.

In a clip shared on social media, Kylie was seen mingling with Dakota Fanning, before she sweetly snapped a photo of her boyfriend on a digital camera.

Kylie and Timothée were recently subject to split speculation, as they hadn’t attended a public event together since last year’s Golden Globes.

Demi Moore wins very first award

Demi Moore not only became a first time Golden Globe winner but received her first ever award for her acting.

The actress was recognised for her role in the hit horror film The Substance.

During her acceptance speech, the 62-year-old confessed: “Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me that I was a ‘popcorn’ actress and at that time, I made that mean that this wasn’t something that I was allowed to have,”

“that I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged.”

“I bought in, and I believed that, and that corroded me over time, to the point where I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it, maybe I was complete.”

“I’ve done what I was supposed to do.”

“And as I was at kind of a low point, I had this magical, bold, courageous, out-of-the-box, absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called The Substance, and the universe told me that you’re not done.”

Demi went on to thank director Coralie Fargeat and her team, saying that film was a reminder “that I do belong”.

Sofia Vergara hilariously heckled Jodie Foster

Sofia Vergara hilariously heckled Jodie Foster at the 2025 Golden Globes, after losing an award to her.

The pair were both nominated in the same category – Best Performance by a Female Actor, Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television.

Jodie ended up winning the award for her role in True Detective, meaning Sofia lost out on the gong for her performance in Griselda.

Sofia also lost to Jodie at the Emmys last year, and when she took to the stage Sofia couldn’t help but express her frustration.

The Modern Family star could be heard shouting: “No, no! Not again! Give me one!”

The camera then panned to Sofia as she laughed in the audience.

Vin Diesel calls out Dwayne Johnson

In the final memorable moment, Vin Diesel called out Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson when he was presenting the cinematic and box office achievement award.

Just as the actor was set to give the award to the hit movie musical Wicked, Vin paused and said: “Hey, Dwayne.”

The camera turned to Dwayne in the audience where he simply smiled awkwardly.

The crowed laughed at the moment considering the pairs rocky history.

Vin ad Dwayne notoriously feuded during their time making the Fast and Furious furious movies.

The feud originally came to light in August 2016 after the former WWE star called out a “chicken shit” and “candy ass” co-star on Instagram.

Vin later confirmed the post was about him after his “tough love” on set casued tension between the two.

However, they seemed to have squashed the feud when The Rock appeared in a credits scene of Fast X – after previously saying he would never return to the series.
