Teddi Mellencamp has revealed she’s been diagnosed with multiple brain tumours.
The US reality star, who shot to fame on seasons 8 – 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been battling melanoma for years, and has had over 20 surgeries to remove skin cancer from her body.
Sharing the devastating health update on Instagram today, she wrote: “For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization.”
“After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months,” Teddi told fans in a statement.
“Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today-The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.
“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.
“Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”

Earlier this month, Teddi had shared a graphic image of her cancer surgery scar to mark World Cancer Day, after spending years removing 17 different spots of melanoma.
“It’s #WorldCancerDay so I’d like to remind you to get your skin checks scheduled,” she captioned the post.
Teddi, who shares three children with her ex-husband Edwin Arroyave, also shared a clip from her recent appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, in which she opened up about her skin cancer diagnosis.

In the podcast clip, Teddi revealed that she’d had a “ginormous patch” on the back of her shoulder since she was born, and then started getting marks on her back.
“They almost looked like sun spots … I didn’t take it seriously, plus I didn’t know that skin cancer was a big deal,” she said.
The news comes just months after Teddi announced her split from her husband Edwin in November, after 13 years of marriage.
