Taylor Swift paid an emotional visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
Before joining staff for a group photo, the superstar, who turns 35 on Friday, posed with children receiving treatment at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
The hospital visit marked Taylor’s first public appearance since wrapping her Era’s Tour.

Melissa Nuzum, the mom of patient Baylee who Taylor visited wrote on Facebook: “We had the coolest and most unexpected surprise ever…”
“Taylor Swift came to visit inpatient children today and Baylee was chosen since she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures,” she continued.
“Ya’ll she is amazing. On top of her sheer beauty, she was a kind and personable and down to earth.”
“She gave Baylee a signed copy of her Eras Tour book and accepted a gift from Baylee, a diamond art picture as well.”
“We have fan girled all morning. I even cried as it’s wonderful to see my girl smile so much knowing the pain she’s been in.”
“Thank you Taylor and those involved at Children’s Mercy that helped make this happen,” Melissa wrote.

In another moment, Taylor was handed a towel that read: “Go Taylor’s Boyfriend,” to which she was captured laughing at.
Others shared clips of the singer spending time with various patients, including one in which she sent a message to a patient’s friends and celebrated their final day of chemotherapy.
In a short video, she bids the workers farewell and said: “I’ll probably be back to bother you.”
