Mandy Moore calls out Amazon for delivering package to burnt down house

Mandy Moore has slammed Amazon for sending a package to her parent-in-law’s home, after it burned down in the Los Angles wildfires.

The actress took to Instagram to show the remains of the house and a brown box from the online delivery company amongst the rubble.

“Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father in law’s home. Smh,” wrote the This Is Us star.

This call out sparked the attention of Amazon themselves, and their spokesperson released a statement in response to Mandy’s complaint.

“We’ve reached out to Ms. Moore via Instagram to apologize for this and to ask for more information from her in-laws so we’re better able to investigate what happened here,” said Amazon rep Steve Kelly in a statement obtained by Page Six.

“For weeks, we’ve advised those who are delivering on our behalf in southern California to use discretion in areas that were impacted by wildfires – especially if it involves delivering to a damaged home – that clearly didn’t happen here.”

Parts of Mandy’s own house were also destroyed by the recent wildfires, leaving it uninhabitable for her and her family.

The actress shares three kids with her husband Taylor Goldsmith.

Throughout this devastation, the family were given a helping hand from friends Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma, who opened up their home to them.
