Khloe Kardashian has made a shock confession about how much her sisters are paid to film their reality show.
The famous family have been documenting their lives on-screen since 2007 when Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered on E! Entertainment.
In 2021, they landed a new deal with Hulu and Disney+, and their new show The Kardashians debuted the following year.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast this week, Khloe revealed whether she and her sisters Kourtney, Kim, Kendall and Kylie are paid equally for their show.
When host Alex Cooper asked Khloe if it was true that “you and your sisters are all paid the same amount on The Kardashians” during a quickfire round of questions, the 40-year-old replied, “True.”
The news may come as a surprise to fans, as many would argue that certain family members appear on the show more than others – namely Kim and Khloe.
Alex then asked if they’re “allowed to cut any footage that you don’t like” as executive producers of the show.
“Yes,” Khloe confessed, “but it’s more vanity things that we would cut.”
“I mean, trust me. I would’ve cut way other s**t,” she laughed, before insisting, “I’ve never cut anything crazy.”
Khloe also admitted Kourtney is the most likely to ask for something to be cut out of The Kardashians.
“It’s more because she’ll say, ‘I say ‘like’ too many times, so remove this word,'” she explained.
“It’s more that regard. It’s not really because of story—not storylines, because they’re following us—but it’s not about a story concept. It’s more verbiage.”
During the candid interview, Khloe also opened up about her exes Tristan Thompson and Lamar Odom’s cheating scandals, and revealed how her older sister Kim found out before her.
“Kim has known about the cheating—I think both of the cheating stuff—I think Kim found out first, which is crazy,” she said.
“And then my mom with my ex-husband, she knew things before I did and had to tell me.”
“I would rather a family member than a stranger,” Khloe confessed.
“I don’t like that any of this stuff happened, but I don’t—I would rather it them. I’m not someone that gets mad at the messenger.”
