Kanye West has broken his silence on he and Bianca Censori shock nude stunt at Grammy Awards.
The couple surprised fans once again with their bold appearance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 2.
The couple, married since December 2022, have become known for their unconventional fashion choices – and the Grammys was no different.
The pair initially arrived on the red carpet in matching all-black ensembles, however, Bianca then removed her large fur coat to reveal a completely sheer mini dress underneath.
Speaking to photographers on Tuesday, Kanye said “Ask me how it was to beat the Grammys. We beat the Grammys,” according to TMZ.
There were initial reports that the couple were escorted out of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles due to fan calls for their arrest over alleged “indecent exposure.”
However, it was later confirmed they left voluntarily.
According to Page Six, Bianca’s look was inspired by the album cover for Kanye’s 2024 project Vultures 1, which features him in all black, his face masked, while she stands naked except for thigh-high boots and a small piece of fabric.
Kanye later took to Instagram to confirm he designed Bianca’s barely-there dress, calling her the “most beautiful woman ever”.
Some fans have also speculated the couple’s appearance echoed a moment from Kanye’s 2008 music video for “Flashing Lights,” where ex-Playboy model Rita G steps out of a Ford Mustang Bullitt in the desert wearing a fur coat, which she later removes to reveal lingerie.
The couple’s latest stunt comes after reports Bianca’s family had raised concerns about her wellbeing.
Adding fuel to the fire, a lip-reader has also interpreted the conversation between Kanye and Bianca on the Grammy red carpet.
Nicola Hickling, a lip-reading expert, has shared that Kanye appeared to tell Bianca, “You’re making a scene now,” to which she responded with a tense nod.
He allegedly said, “Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense,” before giving her instructions to “drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.”
Censori responded, “Alright, let’s go.”
