Justin Bieber hits back at ‘inaccurate assumptions’ amid fan concerns

Just Bieber has hit back at “inaccurate assumptions” made about him amid fan concerns.

The statement was in response to a The Hollywood Reporter article published on Wednesday, in which a former member of Justin’s crew claimed the star was in debt to the tune of millions of dollars, after several postponements of his Justice World Tour.

Representatives for the 31-year-old pop star claimed the concerns were “clickbait stupidity” and had come from unreliable sources who were “disappointed they no longer work with Justin.”

In a statement to Us Weekly, Justin’s team vehemently denied the allegations made in the article.

“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” the statement read.

“As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

The tour was originally scheduled to begin in 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic and then further delayed again in 2022 after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis

“Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress … either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality,” the singer’s representatives told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Hollywood Reporter’s article was titled ‘Justin Bieber’s Crisis of Faith?’ and included claims about the singer’s reported “bitter management shake-up and angry public outbursts.”

The article claimed a source alleged that after Justin cancelled his remaining tour dates it “triggered a series of financial consequences that are still plaguing the artist today.”

The article also stated the source alleged that Justin was not only “broke” but owed a “large debt” to tour promoter AEG, after cancelling his tour.

The source claimed: “To date, Bieber has only returned a portion of what he borrowed.”

The article comes amid ongoing speculation about the popstars health and marriage issues.

In recent months, Justin has sparked marriage problems after a string of incidents, including unfollowing his wife Hailey on Instagram.

In another move, Justin caused concern when it was revealed he had ended his professional relationship with Scooter Braun and denounced his fashion brand Drew House.

In February, a rep for Justin told TMZ: “He ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
