Dave Grohl’s children have deleted all their social media following their father’s cheating confession.
On Tuesday, the Foo Fighters frontman admitted to cheating on his wife Jordyn Bloom and fathering a secret child outside of his marriage.
Now, the 55-year-old’s two eldest children, Violet and Harper, deleted their Instagram accounts following the shock announcement.
Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum met in 2001 and have been married since 2003.
The pair share three children – Violet, Harper and Ophelia.
The singer made the admission in a statement posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
The statement read: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.”
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
The 55-year-old has often been described as a “family man” and has repeatedly spoken about the importance of his family in interviews.

In 2007, Dave told The Guardian, “[My wife] Jordyn and [daughter] Violet are anchors that keep me from completely disappearing.”
He added: “It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes.”
“You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. It’s inevitable that that would make its way into your songwriting.”
Dave was previously married to Jennifer Youngblood from 1994-1997.
The pair separated in December 1996 and subsequently got divorced in 1997 after Dave admitted to infidelity.
