Chappell Roan has revealed her fear as she deals with an active stalker situation.
Chappell Roan blew up over the summer after she released her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
In March 2023, she had just under 3 million monthly subscribers, however, following her Coachella performance just over a year later, she has more than 20 million each month.
In an interview for Rolling Stone magazine, The Pink Pony Club singer revealed that she has a stalker, someone who she met in Missouri.
The singer details how this person has appeared at her parents’ house and even in Chappell’s hotel room in New York.
She told the publication, “So now I have to have security.”
“It’s so lame.”
Chappell admitted that this was not the only incident that had happened.
She details how she was kissed without her consent, how her father’s number was leaked and how she was harassed by a man in the airport over an autograph.
The singer admitted, “I got home and dropped to my knees.”
“I have a hard time crying now because of my meds, but I sobbed and was screaming.”
In the last few weeks, Chappell has become increasingly vocal about setting boundaries with fans and spectators.
The Good Luck, Babe! singer posted a TikTok on Monday, August 19, to share her thoughts on entitled fans, who feel they deserve photos or hugs when they meet her in person.
“If you saw a random woman on the street, would you yell at her from the car window? Would you harass her in public?” the 26-year-old said in the first of two TikTok videos.

“Would you go up to a random lady and say, ‘Can I get a photo with you?’ and she’s like, ‘No, what the f–k,’ and then you get mad at this random lady?”
Chappell continued, “Would you be offended if she says no to your time because she has her own time? Would you stalk her family? Would you follow her around? Would you try to dissect her life and bully her online?”
“I’m a random bitch. You’re a random bitch. Just think about that for a second,” the singer concluded the video.

In a second video, the singer labelled those fans as “creepy,” saying, “I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little famous.”
She continued, “I don’t care that it’s normal. I don’t care that this crazy type of behavior comes along with the job, the career field I’ve chosen. That does not make it OK. That doesn’t make it normal. It doesn’t mean I want it. It doesn’t mean that I like it.”
“I don’t want whatever the f–k you think you’re supposed to be entitled to whenever you see a celebrity. I don’t give a f–k if you think it’s selfish of me to say no for a photo, or for your time, or for a hug,” said Roan. “It’s weird how people think that you know a person just because you see them online or you listen to the art they make.”
