It has been reported that Blake Lively was caught off guard by the drama surrounding her new film, It Ends With Us.
Fans of It Ends with Us speculated that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni may be feuding after the two did not appear together during the film’s press tour.

The premiere brought about speculation regarding the behind-the-scenes dynamic of its cast members.
Neither Blake nor Justin has publically spoken about the alleged feud between them.
However, a new report from People revealed Blake was “surprised” how it played out.
“She initially felt very vulnerable and upset. During the movie’s promotion, not one day went by when she was not in the news in an unfavourable light,” the source said.
“She’s just not used to this kind of drama.”
Blake was said to be “pretty surprised at the backlash and drama,” and the situation “felt out of control to her.'”
“The drama hasn’t soured her interest in exploring new projects,” the source added, adding that she “enjoys working and will continue to push forward projects that she’s excited about.”

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed in early August that a rift between Blake Lively, who also served as a producer on the film, and Justin Baldoni was, in fact, real.
Fans have pointed out that Justin, who starred in and directed the film, didn’t join fellow cast members Blake, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, and Isabela Ferrer for much of the press tour.
Blake, who stars as protagonist Lily Bloom and is one of the film’s producers, posed for photos alongside Brandon, Jenny and Isabela at the film’s premiere, but Justin only appeared in photos with his wife, Emily Baldoni, and his personal guests.
Fans also pointed out that the cast only did small group shots and not a full group photo.

Fans of the film alleged that Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, were a little too involved with the production and promotion of the movie, possibly stepping on Justin’s toes.
Blake, who also serves as executive producer, shared that her husband Ryan wrote a scene for the film.
Screenwriter Christy Hall told People that she wasn’t aware Ryan had written dialogue for the movie.
“When I saw a cut I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cute. That must have been a cute improvised thing.’ So if I’m being told that Ryan wrote that, then great, how wonderful.”

During a red-carpet interview with Deadline, Jenny State, who plays Justin’s sister in the film, seemed to dodge a question about what it was like to work with the actor-filmmaker.
“What an intense job,” Jenny told the publication.
“I just found myself being like, ‘I really just want to have one job at once.’ In fact, I’ve often felt that way, like I really like writing and it’s special to be a writer—like yeah. I was looking around and just being like, ‘I’m good with just acting.’”

At the premiere, Justin also did not introduce the film to the audience with Blake and Colleen.
Some social media sleuthing has also proven that the cast and Colleen do not currently follow Justin on social media, while he does follow them.
And after the film’s premiere, Justin detailed a bit of the trouble he faced as the film’s director.
“You don’t have to listen to everybody and that didn’t happen all the time,” he continued, “But there were just moments where I would get out of the way too much.”
Despite speculation of rift, Justin went on to praise Blake’s input in the film and said: “You can’t summarize Blake’s contribution in a sentence because her energy and imprint is all over the movie and really, really made the film better, and from beginning to end.”
He also extended his gratitude to Blake’s “creative genius” husband Ryan Reynolds, and said he would absolutely work with the couple again “if they’d have me.”
