He’s been accused of domestic abuse by his estranged wife Amber Heard and now a new video shows Johnny Depp smashing a glass during an incident with her at their home.
In the footage, secretly taken by Amber on her phone months before she left him in May, Johnny can be seen pacing around angrily as he bangs cupboard doors and smashes the glass.
He also pours himself a glass of red wine as Amber questions him on what’s wrong and tries to calm him down, in the video obtained by TMZ.
At the end of the one and a half minute clip, Johnny, 53, realises he is being filmed and grabs the phone.
However, TMZ reports that the footage is “heavily edited” to show Johnny in a negative light and Amber, 30, was actually egging him on.
Sources close to Johnny allege “there are portions where Amber is seen smiling and egging him on and the video was a complete set up by Amber”.
It’s also likely the tape would not be admissible in court because it is edited and Amber did not have permission to film Johnny.
