Carrie Fisher has opened up about her affair with Harrison Ford and revealed that it was infatuation and not love.
The actress previously admitted she had been keeping the affair a secret for 40 years, and spilled the details of it in her latest memoir, The Princess Diarist.
“It was infatuation. Love is a more mature [feeling],” she said about their romance.

The American said that her talent at keeping the affair a secret for so long was by distracting people with other stories.
“I told other stuff to distract people so that they would never figure it out. No one thought it was happening at the time. I don’t even know if he did,” she told Ellen DeGeneres on her show.
“It was a location [affair] because everybody was away from home so then rules – I didn’t know this, no one told me about location rules – but you can do whatever you want as long as you film the movie.
“They can sleep together if their family is not around.”
