Slammed: Tilda thinks Harry Potter romanticises “cruel” boarding school | WARNER BROS

The actress, who attended boarding school West Heath in London during her younger years, thinks such settings are a cruel place for children to grow up in.

“I think [boarding schools] are a very cruel setting in which to grow up and I don’t feel children benefit from that type of education,” Tilda told The Scots Magazine.

“Children need their parents. That’s why I dislike films like Harry Potter, which tend to romanticise such places.”
