Taylor Swift and Zayn come together for new 50 Shades song

The two collaborated on a song for Fifty Shades Darker

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik have collaborated on a brand new song for the new 50 Shades Darker film.

The film stars Belfast native Jamie Dornan and if the trailers are anything to go by, it’s set to be another steamy story.

Their sultry track I Don’t Wanna Live Forever will feature on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie.

Taylor first revealed the track on her social media, debuting the cover art and a clip from the song on Instagram.

Zayn also posted a photo of the pair with the simple caption “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.”

The soundtrack for the first film, 50 Shades of Grey, received immense musical acclaim and included Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do and the Weeknd’s Grammy-nominated Earned It.

The first soundtrack also included a remix of Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love and contributions from Jessie Ware, Sia, the Rolling Stones, and more.

Taylor and Zayn’s new track was number 1 on the US iTunes chart within an hour of its release.

Taylor Swift hasn’t released any of her own songs since dropping 1989 in October 2014, while Zayn’s most recent release, Mind Of Mine came last March.

‘Zayn and Taylor’ and #idontwanttoliveforever were trending on Twitter as the two stars’ combined following of over 100 million fans reacted to the surprise collaboration.

Fifty Shades Darker is set to hit cinemas in February 2017.
